Houses of Burano

Canon 70-200mm f/4 lens at 200mm, f/8. One of our favorite photographic trips was to Burano, an island in the Venetian Lagoon well known for its vibrantly colored houses. It was a very pleasant place to wander with a camera.

Very neat shots, Uyen. I have been unable to post comments these past days, some trouble with your website.

This may sound stupid, but they actually remind me of a row of brightly colored Baltimore rowhomes!

Actually, I thought of Baltimore rowhouses, too. This is lovely.

I left my heart in Burano, this has to be the highlight of my European tour, can you imagine a place like this...
We had an equisite seafood meal here and the houses were amazing, did you know if the children move back into the houses of their parents they paint their floor (upstairs) another colour? I am sure you saw it.
