Architecture

The Weisman Art Museum at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. What I like best about Frank Gehry's creations is how they reflect the color of their surroundings.

The other cool thing about Gehry is that you *instantly* recognize it as one of his works. He's quite the artist.

Maybe because they're silver.... I mean, mirrors do a pretty good job (if you bought a mirror, and not just a shiny piece of wrinkle aluminum or something) at reflecting their surroundings. Ok, so it was in bad taste, but hope you all are doing well, and thanks for the camera.

I like the way the clouds and the environmental lights are reflected on the shiny surface of the building. I assume that was the purpose of the architect while designing it, as despite its unusual shape it become so integrated in its surrounding. You captured this effect well.

Wow! That building is so cool! Great photo. It's been a while since I've made it to your blog -- obviously I'm missing out. :)

This is a fantastic photo! The building provides great subject matter, but you have captured a wonderful mood with the composition.
I notice you haven't posted lately - hope all is well. I truly enjoy your work.....

Nice! Something here that goes beyond typical photos of Gehry's buildings... I like the way it fills the frame in this photo.
