interesting... i think this is the building my brother described as having "no vertical walls", certainly looks that way from this photo.

I love to see that building every time I pass by the M.I.T. area. They say that it is also a kind of social experiment. As there are no straight walls and some area do not have a wall at all (only large windows), different people rearrange their offices in many different ways according to their personalities. Some (especially students) like to leave the transparent walls free, and don't mind "living in a fishbowl". Other instead had gone to the estreme measures to cover the glass walls with paint to preserve their spaces... You can tell a lot of a person according on the way is organizing the space in which lives, and this building is a great opportunity for this kind of "studies"...

whoaaah thanks for posting this, I think this is the building I saw while under construction when I last visited the US. I remmeber walking past it while on the MIT campus thinking....bloody ell!! look at that!
