Spring Visions
Detail from a basket of flowers in my department's lounge. I've grown really attached to a new lens--a 50mm f/1.4--and I'm enjoying the ability to play with really wide apertures.

Ah, the joys of a fast lens:-) I was stuck wide-open for awhile after I got my f/1.8 50mm (all the while wishing I could have budgeted for the f/1.4)
Beautifully soft colors here complement the equally stunning soft focus - congrats on that new lens!

Yeah, the 50mm lens is great, and I bet the 1/4 is even better. Really nice shot. Beautiful composition.

Damn it! I wanted to take pictures of those baskets too but was too shy. This is awesome. I can't even tell which flowers are closer. excellent!

This is almost a cross between my own "A Study in Peach" and "Peach Roses." Yours is more soft-focus, however. Quite beautiful.
