Angles

I just returned from warm and sunny Jacksonville, Florida, where Visual Field and I were visiting his parents. This photo shows a detail from the ceiling at Jacksonville International Airport.

wow. striking. the colors and gradients are perfect, excellent minimal portrait. this is reminiscent of a piece of modern art from the 60s early 70s?. this would make a great image to enlarge, frame, and hang up.

The blue gradients are faultless. Lovely.

I love your compositions. It started out great in October, and it looks like it's getting even better every month!

You just make anything look amazing and focus all the attention on the shapes and colours Claire, I don't know how you do it.

Unbelievable clarity - did you use a tripod. I wonder if anyone wouldd have guessed what it was if you hadn't mentioned the airport?

I really like the simplicity of this one. Looks 2D even though you know it's 3D, but if you really squint at it you can see the 3D.

Your usual good eye for spotting patterns and abstract shapes in the everyday world. This one is not as much as shapes, as colors... How did you feel with shooting in airports? Since 9/11 and the security paranoia I am afraid to take out a camera in an airport, did you ever had troubles for that?

Excellent! Love the abstract pattern and the color.
