Traveling

O'hare

A tunnel at Chicago O'hare Airport. I also have an alternative version here
which shows the ceiling in greater detail.

Very dramatic lighting (probably credit goes to O'hare). You get the credit for the composition, though.

Very nice photo! I love the lines throughout as well as how the shadows play a part. Very nice capture! I have also looked through some of your other photos and very much enjoy your style. You have a unique view in your compositions which is refreshing!

I really like the sense of depth in the alternate photo. Great composition!

I agree with Simon. I also like the second photo better because of the depth. The one of just the ceiling is nice, but I'm especially drawn to the one that includes the whole walkway and the people.

Very very good eyes you have man.

I have to agree with Simon, too. That's a great depth and angle - both photographs are impressive.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I also like the composition of the photo of the whole tunnel much better. I posted it as the alternate instead of the main photo because parts of it were overexposed, but based on your feedback I've changed my mind and swapped the photos.

wow, i love how you captured the architecture of the tunnel. The various movements the lines create make the composition very strong and interesting.

the photo w/ the people walking is stronger, in my opinion. the punch of color from the orange/red coat adds another focus. As mentioned, there is also a greater depth and perspective. good job!

amazing. i cant add to what everyone has already said. i love the composition as I like tilted comps generally and it works perfectly here.

~the extreme tilt works for me here, well done w/ the POV~

I'm in agreement with everyone here. Fantastic photos of the airport. Very dramatic.

Wow! I love BOTH versions -- the light is outstanding ... incredibly wonderful.... I live in Chicago - and make the United terminal my home away from home -- and I've never seen it quite this way ... fantastic...

Beautiful! Nice way to take advantage of your unexpected stay in Chicago...

Excellent! Love the off-balance composition.

I definitely like the one you chose more - it has such depth and movement. your decision to angle the shot really adds to that movement. Although I still can't put into words what your style is, it seems to me that this photo is a little different from your usual shots. I think it more about the emotion than anything else. usually your shots are clean, calm, very serene - this one is more urban and rushed but also has some of the clean composition of your other shots.
