Cat Trouble

My cat Frosty has been sick lately, and by doctor's orders we have the dreaded task of giving him his medicine every night until he gets better. At the vet's office I asked whether they had any trouble giving him his pill. "Oh no," came the response. "Not at all. Frosty is an absolute doll!" Uh, yeah right. Unless by doll they meant Chucky.
Last night when we tried to give Frosty his first pill at home, it was a 30-minute tangle of arms, legs, and fur. In the end, I had him wrapped in a towel and sat on him, while M pried open his mouth and threw the pill in. But not before Frosty managed to give M several scratch wounds on the hand. The final score: us-1, Frosty-4.
I'm not looking forward to round 2 tonight.

hahaha When I first looked at Frosty, I thought "what a cute looking cat". Then I read the writeup and now when I look at Frosty, I see a definite "I dare you to try that again" look.

First of all, we wish Frosty to get better very very soon. We've been through it with Viktor too, for his stray-time otitis and 2 people were not enough :-)

Yes, we did survive round two...just barely. Thanks everyone...Frosty seems to be doing a bit better now. I should also add that he's normally a sweet cat. He only turns demonic when you're trying to shove a pill down his throat.
