Pensive Koala
I really fell in love with these cuddly looking critters this summer (although they're not quite as friendly as they appear). Of all my koala shots, the following is my favorite. The little guy had his chin resting thoughtfully on his hands and looked as if he was busy pondering the meaning of life. I thought he looked statuesque..."the thinker koala."

Nice blog you've got there! Though this koala looks as though it is plotting something...say, for instance, attacking that American tourist with the camera down there...

Congratulation with your new hobby. This Koala has really a lot of character, and almost looks like Yoda while doing some Jedi mental trick.
Don't despair (still) for the elections. The two are very close, and given the mess of the electoral system and the uncertainty in the polls, is still impossible to say who has a lead. And the polls do not count the new voters (1.5 million in Florida alone, if I read correctly a BBC report) or the young people with a cellular phone (the polls are phone interviews on a sample of people that previously voted). So there is still hope...
